My name is Ashley Sanchez, the principal of Cambridge Academy East Mesa Campus. I graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career here at Cambridge Academy in 2007 and could not imagine being anywhere else! Since starting, I have had the privilege of teaching 1 st , 2nd, 4th grades and wast the math teacher for our LEVEL UP program.
I graduated from ASU in 2014 with a BFA in Art Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I started working at Cambridge Academy teaching art for grades K- 3, and later became one of the Kindergarten teachers in 2015.
My name is Madison Rohm. There is a unique joy that comes from watching the mind of young child develop. I enjoy leading children on their adventures of learning. With educational exploration the possibilities are endless.
I am thrilled to be a part of the Mesa Campus.This is my thirteenth year of teaching at Cambridge Academy. I’ve taught one year in fifth grade, five in kindergarten, and this will be my seventh year of teaching at the first grade level.
This is my first year here at Cambridge Academy and I am so very excited to be a part of the Mesa Campus teaching First Grade. I attended Grand Canyon University for my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. I have two children of my own (4th grade and Kindergarten) who are also so excited to be a part of the Cambridge family!
I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor degree in Elementary/Special Education. I have taught 5th/6th grade social studies and this will be my 4th year teaching in 2nd grade. There is just something about teaching this age that I really enjoy!
Ashley Smith has been with Cambridge Academy since 2009. She obtained her degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University, as well as her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Autism. She is certified in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She taught Kindergarten for 7 years at Cambridge before teaching Preschool for 3 years at Revolution Dance and Academy of the Arts. She is now teaching 3rd grade. “Aside from owning Revolution and dancing, my passion has always been teaching and I could never imagine myself teaching anywhere but Cambridge. It is important to surround yourself in an environment in which you thrive, and that is why my family and I choose Cambridge. The family-focused culture, enriching curriculum, and inspiring teachers is what truly sets us apart, and I am blessed with the opportunity to teach your kiddos!
My name is Ashley Baril and I’m excited to be teaching your student! I received my Bachelor degree in Communications from Central Washington University and my Elementary Education Certification from Sierra Nevada College. I have worked in education for nearly 15 years. It’s been the most rewarding experience and look forward to this new chapter at Cambridge Academy. My goal as a teacher is to encourage and challenge students as they develop their learning skills in a positive environment.
My name is Cassandra Steagall, and I’m honored to be teaching your child! I am one of the 4th grade homeroom teachers as well as the Language Arts teacher for our LEVEL UP program. Hello Cambridge Families! I am excited to introduce myself as the 4-6th grade math teacher and one of the 5th grade homeroom teachers. This is my first year teaching full time and my first year at Cambridge Academy! My passion is math and science, as I truly believe they are the foundation and explanation for everything around us. I look forward to teaching your child math and help them develop a love for the subject, and be able to recognize the math around us!
I moved to Arizona from Vermont when I was in junior high. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from ASU and a Master’s degree in English from NAU. I started volunteering at Cambridge when my son began kindergarten in 2009. I have been working at Cambridge since 2014. I have worked as a lunch/recess aide, an art teacher, and I am now working in the front office. Cambridge is truly like a family and I feel so fortunate to be a part of it. My husband and I have been married for sixteen years. We have two children, a rottweiler and a pug. When I’m not at Cambridge, I enjoy spending time with my family. We recently moved, so I am doing several Pinterest projects on my new house.
This is my 10th year at Cambridge Academy. I started out as a parent and volunteered my time in the classrooms and became an employee in November of 2010 working as an aide. I moved into the office in 2013 as an Administrative Assistant. I have now taken on the new role as District Coordinator and I absolutely love it! When I am not working I love baking, going to the gym and spending time with my husband, son and our puppies.
